Ailsa is a highly passionate dentist, dedicated to providing high quality dental care, and has been serving the local community in Winchester for nearly 10 years. She graduated from Bristol in 2011 and subsequently obtained her Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.
Ailsa’s commitment to excellence is evident though her participation in advanced training courses, including a Post-Graduate Certificate in Endodontics with Kings College London and the prestigious Chris Orr courses including the one-year certificate course in 'Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry' and an 'Advanced Occlusion and Treatment Planning' course. Ailsa has a special interest in biomimetic restorative procedures, which by emulating natures design and following scientific principles, achieves natural-looking and long-lasting results for her patients.
Ailsa is driven by a desire to mentor and she supports young dentists in the area in their professional journey. Alongside mentoring, she has taken on a teaching role for Kings College London at their Portsmouth outreach clinic, where she will be providing chair side teaching for fifth year dental students. Ailsa is also an elected member of the Local Dental Committee for Hampshire and Isle of Wight which is a link between NHS England and dentists.
Ailsa is a proud parent to two beautiful daughters and two energetic vizslas. When not at work Ailsa can be found exploring the great outdoors with her family and furry companions.
