It is with great regret that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close St Cuthbert’s Dental Surgery. This is with immediate effect and is to preserve the safety of our patients and staff alike.
In response to the recent Government announcement concerning dental surgeries being allowed to reopen, we have now obtained and are installing Radic 8 Viruskiller air purifiers for all the surgeries. We will shortly have all the PPE that we require and are currently training for the new, enhanced and complex COVID-safe cross infection control measures required to keep everyone safe. Patient and staff safety is our foremost priority, which we will not compromise by opening before we have everything in place. We plan to have a staged and partial surgery re-opening commencing Monday 6th July. We are re-organising our appointment book to cater for the increased time that these additional measures require, and we have had to change how we manage patients as there are restrictions on the provision and timing of some treatments to minimise risks. We will be prioritising patients as appropriate and will be contacting them directly to make appointments. There will be a further update to guide you through how things will be different at your next appointment to comply with the current guidelines and help to keep you safe.

The surgery telephone will remain open Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 11:00 am for advice.
We would like to extend our very best wishes to all our loyal patients and thank you for your patience and support during these unprecedented times.
