Congratulations to Jenna who gained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in March 19 and is now officially registered with the GDC

We are all very proud of Jenna & Zoe (receptionists) who did a skydive from 10,000 feet on Saturday 22/6/19.

Here in the UK free dental care is provided for homeless and vulnerable people and Dentaid also run oral health education programmes in British schools.

Fran in the Far East


Fran Robinson working as a volunteer in public health all over the Far East. Well done Fran, we are keeping up with your journey, please keep the photos coming. We miss you too!

Sadly for us, our Hygienist Fran has left the Practice to pursue a dream of volunteering and doing shadowing work within Public Health in the Far East. She is planning to visit Thailand ,Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam . All of us at St Cuthberts Dental Surgery would like to wish her the best of luck and to say how much we will miss her. We all enjoyed her send -off do !

Fran, one of our hygienists is embarking on a trip to Nepal with Dentaid. She and five others will be joining other outreach programmes and will be delivering preventative treatment and oral hygiene instruction to the local community in rural areas of Nepal.

St Cuthberts Dental Surgery  and others have donated some smallish instruments  but there is a weight restriction and Dentaid have reached their capacity. Well done to all involved! Please watch this space for photos of their progress.



After careful consideration sadly Mrs Stephanie Davis has decided not to return to the practice after her maternity leave, we wish Steph, Jack and little Stanley all the very best in their future family life together
