About us - Meet our team - Our Hygienists

Hygienists are at the heart of our prevention program. They are highly motivated to work with you to improve your oral health and to teach you the best ways to look after your teeth and gums. They play an important role in the treatment and prevention of gum disease through the work they do.

We have three hygienists working at St Cuthbert's Dental Surgery:

Dr Jan K Schutte - A Winchester DentistMiss Gillian Merritt

Gillian has been working at St Cuthbert’s Dental Surgery since qualifying from the Eastman Dental Hospital, London in 2005. She is very enthusiastic about gum disease as well as tooth whitening.

Mrs Nicola Blandford

Nicci has been with us since July 2008 and is at St Cuthbert every Tuesday. She is a qualified dental therapist and hygienist. She loves working with children.

Karen joined the St Cuthbert's team in 2011. She is very enthusiastic about prevention and controlling of gum disease. She is available on Thursdays.
